My wife and I recently used the Spinnaker as the venue for my wedding reception and I could not fault it. On the build up, the events organiser Ashleigh was immensely helpful, every step of the way. She organised everything for us and gave us helpful recommendations for external services, and she was always polite, making us feel very relaxed. The food for the dinner and the buffet was excellent, we had the chicken which many guests complimented. The bar staff were very good too. They were fast, and there was rarely a time where you’d need to wait for a drink. In spite of guests leaving later than planned, not once did they try to rush people out and force them to go home. They called last orders and allowed guests to calmly finish their drinks, even though some people were unfortunately left waiting for a taxi causing them to be open longer than planned, but they made no fuss at all. Overall, an amazing experience, I cannot thank them enough for all they have done and I’d definitely recommend the venue for events and business, or simply just a meal.

We had our wedding here on 06/06/15 & honestly We can not fault the service from start to finish from starting to organise to us leaving the following morning after the wedding the food was superb the service was outstanding nothing was to difficult Sarah & Russ you did an amazing job thank you & all your staff for making our special day so memorable we have had nothing but complements from all our guests day & evening thank you again.  Troy & Bridgette xxx

Stayed at the Spinnaker inn . the room we were given was absolutely gorgeous , clean, tidy well decorated and very large. the inn has a very relaxed feel about it and the staff were excellent, especially the bar staff and dining staff well done. will definitely stay again.

Excellent décor, bars etc, super breakfast, roomy, nicely decorated bedroom, friendly and very helpful staff – what more could you want? Well sea views, I suppose, but these are only a few minutes walk away so not a problem. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, strongly recommended.

We had a lovely meal at The Spinnaker in the garden which is very peaceful. It is also dog friendly and we and our 4 dogs were made to feel most welcome. My husband had the beer battered fish which he said was one of the best he had tasted. I had a light bite meal which was also very nice. I would recommend this to other people for the location and service.

We had both our wedding and reception here. We cannot praise it enough. The day itself was lovely, the wedding breakfast was superb (nearly all our guest mentioned how nicely the food was presented and how delicious it was). The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble and every single one of them went out of their way to make it a memorable occassion. Special thanks to Ashleigh for all her help from beginning to end. I would really recommend this as a fantastic wedding venue. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with a lovely breakfast in the morning.

Very comfortable beds and large bathroom. Spacious bar and restaurant areas. Great breakfast many choices- full English /smoked haddock / cereals etc. close to centre and costal walks. I’ll definitely be back. Stayed November 2016, travelled with family
